Citrus fruits: Citrus fruits are rich in vitamin C that build up the immune system. Vitamin C is also responsible for the production of white blood cells that are important in fighting infections. Examples of citrus fruits are grapefruit, oranges, tangerines, limes, clementines, and lemons.
