About

Katina Volitich is a Project Engineer at Paragon Medical. Ms. Volitich showed excellence in her scholastic endeavors as she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Throughout her years in college, she received awards such as the Heminway Bronze Award, Heminway Gold Medal, John T. Royse Award, Carl Wischmeyer Award, Paul N. Bogart Prize, and the Samuel F. Hulbert Outstanding Biomedical Engineering Senior Award.

Katina is proficient in project management, Design Control, SolidWorks, Raspberry Pi, NX 10, and NI LabVIEW. Her work as design engineer includes providing recommendations for the design and development of new products that support department goals and objectives. She was also assigned as project lead for a Class II medical device, created design concepts for new projects based on design inputs, generated appropriate documentation, Design Control Matrix, dFMEA, pFMEA, Tolerance Analysis, as needed for design control, supported process improvement projects on the production floor to reduce part handling and scrap rates, provided technical advice, skill, and support to peers, and advocated the development of Paragon Medical C&T Project Management Office (PMO).

In the past, Ms. Volitich interned for firms such as Rose-Hulman Ventures, National Instruments, and Mediavative Technologies. She enjoys working out and eating healthy.
